Aluminium safety boats combine durability, low maintenance and excellent performance to deliver reliable over water safety cover for construction projects, events and general operations. All outboard engines utilise kill cord switches to automatically cut the outboard engine in the event that the operator becomes separated from the boat

Standard Aluminium Boat

The standard aluminium dory’s can be supplied with either 9.9hp or 20hp long shaft outboard engines. Excluding the outboard engine, they are 5m long and 1.85m wide.

These utility boats can be used for a variety of purposes as well as safety boat duties such as personnel access, transport and guard vessel roles.

Each boat is a maximum 360kg in full operational trim and they are suitable for carrying loads up to 700kg or 6 persons

The boats will operate in shallow water sites with as little as 600mm of water given their low draft

Fast Response Aluminium Boat

Fitted with a larger outboard engine, seated centre console with remote steering and engine controls, this vessel ideally suited to projects where there are stronger currents, where the vessel may be used for longer periods covering larger sites or night working. With the additional equipment and upgraded engine, the vessel is heavier than the standard version weighing approx 500kg with a reduced payload of 580kg or 5 persons

Lightweight Portable Boat

The Jon12 is a small open utility boat weighing only 37kg without the outboard, so it can be carried and lifted into the water by hand. Powered by a 3.5hp outboard and suitable for up to three persons it is ideally suited for use in calmer waters where it may not be possible to crane a larger boat into the water. The Jon 12 is 3.7m long x 1.2m wide and it fitted with 3 carrying handles. Buoyancy is built into the seats. This boat can also be supplied with two oars for use where outboards may not be desirable and the vessel is solely required for access in flat calm waters
